Goodwood FOS
Back in July, I mixed things up, I finally made it to Goodwood Festival of Speed! Originally, this trip had been planned for 2020, however global events led to it being this year instead.
Goodwood was phenomenal, cars and bikes left right and centre , engines revving and a whole lot of racing and stunts. The site is sooo much larger than I had originally realised so I could not catch everything that I would have liked. I did however manage to capture a little bit of everything which I am really happy about. There was mud flying, cars flying over jumps and ridiculous BMX, Mountain Bikers and Motorcyclists doing the most unimaginable stunts. Note, none of my photographs have been flipped upside down!
It was great to dive into motor photography as I have been wanting to photograph these cars for a long time coming but timing and funds for such events haven’t always worked hand in hand. This event gave me a great opportunity to try out my Fujifilm camera in an action environment, with cars racing up the Hill Climb at ridiculous speeds and cars and bikes jumping out from behind a jump!
As I said, I couldn’t capture everything but I damn near tried my best, my feet hurt considerably at the end of the day and I had nearly worked through 3 batteries.
